By necessity, a very short post, although it’s the inaugural one. There shouldn’t be much said on the day the author of your favorite novel passes away. My favorite novelist was Kurt Vonnegut, but in terms of individual books, individual voices, Holden is golden.
There is no richer experience than being sixteen years old and reading Catcher in the Rye for the first time. And then again a year later, and a year later, and so on throughout your life… I’ll do it until I leave this world as well.
